The client wanted a complete rebuild and refresh of their existing website. The database was re-used without many changes, but all the code required to run the website was re-written. A number of changes were required during the rebuild, including a new development platform (MVC3, C#, .NET4) and integration with a payment provider (PayPal).
As well as the public website, there is a separate administration website to allow their customer services team to manage user’s accounts and update various settings on the website.
